• The rating they select (1–5)
• Any feedback text they voluntarily submit
• The date and time of the submission
• Basic device/browser information (for technical reliability)

We do not collect names, email addresses, or phone numbers from customers unless they voluntarily provide them in the feedback form.

2. How We Use the Information

Collected data is used solely to:

• Display feedback in the business owner's dashboard
• Send low-rating alerts to business owners (Pro plan)
• Improve the ReviewGate platform and user experience

We never sell, rent, or share customer feedback data with any third party outside of the business owner whose link was used.

3. Data Storage & Security

All data is stored on secure servers. We apply industry-standard encryption and access controls. Business owner account data is protected by password authentication.

4. Cookies

ReviewGate uses minimal cookies strictly required for the service to function (e.g., session tokens). We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

5. Google Review Redirect

When a customer is redirected to Google's review page, they leave ReviewGate and are subject to Google's own privacy policy. We have no control over data collected by Google.

If you are a business owner and wish to access, export, or delete data associated with your account, please contact us at the address below. We will respond within 7 business days.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of ReviewGate after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
